ISLAMABAD, Jul 15 (APP): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced admissions for the Autumn 2024 semester’s first phase.
The last date to apply for Matric, FA, and I.Com p
rograms is September 5th, while for MBA, BS, MS, MPhil, and PhD p
rograms, the deadline is August 20th, said a press release on Monday.
Application forms for Matric, FA, I. Com p
rograms can be obtained from the University’s main campus, regional offices, liaison offices, and prospect selling points. For MBA, BS, MS, MPhil, and PhD p
rograms, admissions are strictly online, and application forms and prospects are available on the University’s website.
International students residing worldwide can also apply for Matric, FA, and I.Com p
rograms. Other p
rograms for international students will be offered in the second phase starting from September 1st.
The University is facilitating international students through an online management system where they can s
ubmit assignments and take exams online. International students can download admission forms and prospects from the University’s website at http://online.aiou.edu.pk.
According to Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood, in previous semesters, 1200 international students from 37 countries have enrolled, and the university aims to increase this number to 50,000.
